We’re excited to announce the latest release of booth. We’re proudly at version 2.0 which is a big milestone for us since we launched Version 1.0 in April. We’ve made many great improvements over the last month from the feedback we’ve gotten from our users.
There have been a major number of feature improvements such as:
Setting up your call rules are much easier. We found many users we talked to found the v1.0 platform too open. They got a bit lost in all that could happen. To address this, we tightened the steps to get your call rules setup. Plus we were able to make the code base much more efficient which will help with future improvements.
Currently, we offer one integration. The time-based integration will allow you to write call rules around your business hours.
For example, if you want to have extensions setup from 8 am to 5 pm, no problem. You can appear bigger than a one-man shop, or allow your customers to reach the sales department even if all your sales team is scattered across the country.
You can also greet your customers with a pre-recorded welcome message, record/ upload your own or just type your welcome message and, we’ll convert it for you. Or I bet if you ask nice, we’ll even have one of our professional voice-over talents record your greeting.
At 5PM, you can add a call forwarding rule and not worry about being tied to your desk for the rest of the evening.
And just to make sure that at the end of the day your work doesn’t follow you everywhere, at night you can send all your calls to voicemail. Now spend time with your friends and family without letting work get in the way.
After you have set up all your call rules, you can view/ edit them anytime.
